Joe -  Drums and Back-up Vocals

In grade school, Joe was the kid who was always in trouble with teachers for constantly, unconsciously,  tapping out rhythms on his desk.

After receiving a used Slingerland kit for Christmas at age 15, he proceeded to drive his parents, siblings, and neighbors crazy (and the rest is history (ha) ).

In the ensuing decades, Joe worked with numerous bands, including several years ‘on the road’. After performing on the club circuit across the U.S. and Canada, Joe moved to the Twin Cities. He has played every kind of venue, as well as recording studio sessions. He has been influenced by Stephen Ferrone, Dennis Chambers, and Carter Beauford to name just a few. He has performed, and enjoys, all styles of music.  “Rhythm Rules!”

Joe has been a part of the Mr. Winky family since December 31, 2009
