Mark has been playing professionally since 1967, starting with Poor Richard & the Almanacs which became The Turtleneckers (a cover band), he then left to join The Soul Package, a rhythm and blues horn band. A few  years later he bounced around with different bands i.e. Art’s Gallery (covers & blues), The Expressmen (country rock), Shangoya (reggae), and Band of Thieves (R&B).

In ’75 he joined a road band Gene White & Friends (30′s & 40′s), he stayed on the road for 4 years with Delfont the Hypnotist, D.D. Smith & Company (show band), Carl & Company  (show band), Royal (covers).

Later, with family obligations, music became part time with The Lee Kooker Band for close to 20 years and then found a home with Mr. Winky family for the last 10  years. Starting off as a saxophonist, he learned to sing and picked up the flute, harmonica and keyboards.
